Buy Local Produce!

Summer is officially here, and with it comes delicious fruits and vegetables! Here in Edmonton and the surrounding areas, you can find many local farms and farmers’ markets filled to the brim with fresh seasonal produce just waiting to be devoured.

What’s in season in June? Asparagus, broccoli, cherries, various greens, herbs, potatoes, and rhubarb. But it’s almost July so soon you’ll be able to get beans, beets, cabbage, celery, carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, nectarines, peas, peppers, and so much more!
