Do you ever feel like singleness is treated like a bad thing, or something that needs to be ‘fixed’? Society, culture, or even family and friends may tell you that being single is ‘less than’ being in a relationship. Well, we’re here to squash that myth!

Singleness is nothing to be ashamed of, looked down upon, or changed if you don’t want to. Being single doesn’t mean being alone, and you can live a full, rich life without romantic relationships. Here are some tips on embracing the single life:

- Invest in authentic, meaningful friendships - Find a mentor that you trust to give you advice - Enjoy your own company and find activities to do with yourself

- Be surrounded by strong communities (ex: consider joining a mosaicHouse houseChurch!)

- Take yourself out on ‘dates’ and treat yourself - Consider getting a pet for companionship

- If possible, live with a roommate

Singleness isn’t without its own challenges, but it can also be beautiful, fulfilling, and full of its own joys. Embrace yourself and embrace your life as a single person!
