How long have you lived in Edmonton? Were you born and raised, been here for a decade or two, or are you a recent Edmontonian? Regardless of how long you’ve been here, it can be easy to miss all that our city has to offer. It can even be easy for the city to seem stale, or like you’ve seen it all.

If you’re looking for ways to rediscover Edmonton and love it once more, why not be a tourist in your own city? Here are some attractions, big and small, to see all over the city:

Royal Alberta Museum: @royal_alberta_museum
Elk Island National Park (about 20 minutes outside the city)
Edmonton Oilers hockey games: @edmontonoilers
University of Alberta Botanic Garden: @uabotanicgarden
West Edmonton Mall: @official_wem (great for the family!)
Metis Crossing: @metiscrossing (Metis cultural interpretive centre)
Edmonton Valley Zoo: @edmontonvalleyzoo
The Citadel Theatre: @citadeltheatreyeg

And that’s just a small portion of what this great city has to offer! What are some of your favourite Edmonton attractions not listed here? Share in the comments.
