Spring is here in Edmonton, and hopefully we’ve seen our last snow of the season! What better way to get outside and check out your city at the same time than checking out an outdoor market: @124grandmarket

The 124 Street Grand Market started back in 2012 and is now on two days a week in two different locations. They host vendors specializing in apparel, prepared foods, fresh produce, craft beer, health & beauty, pets, home goods, and so much more!

Check out a full list of rotating vendors at 124grandmarket.com. The Market is also family-friendly and their Little Beans program for kids has moved online. Engage your kids (ages 4-12) with local farmers to promote healthy eating and consumer habits. Kids will learn the story of where their food comes from and have fun at the same time.

So this week, why not take advantage of the beautiful weather ahead and support local businesses. Even if you just get out for the fresh air, outdoor markets are a great way to see and appreciate your city. But remember: they have special COVID protocols this year, so check out 124grandmarket.com before heading over.

Market Dates & Locations:

Thursdays, May 13 - October 7, 108 Ave & 124 St
