“Alpha is where I was able to go with people from all walks of life and come together to discuss faith. We ate together, we talked together, and we learned from each other.”
--Martin, Alpha Guest
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring life, purpose & Jesus.
Each Alpha evening looks at a different question around these topics and is designed to create a welcoming environment & honest conversation. Alpha does this with food, a talk, and discussion.
All sessions start with dinner because it’s a great way to connect, relax, and build friendships.
The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions like How does God guide us? Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray?
One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
